Bring Him Home (Harlequin Superromance) - Karina Bliss Everything Ms. Bliss writes is fantastic. However, I had problems connecting with the main characters in this one, not individually but as a couple. All the key ingredients were there but I didn't feel the magic and I can't tell why. The romance develops slowly and the heroine is struggling with the husband's death. I really loved the fact that she felt betrayed by him -- her grief was genuine, and that part was very well done. Also loved the hero and his own internal struggle. But their pairing just didn't work for me. Having said that, I think you should give it a try (if you haven't already), it's a very good story and I can't wait to read the next one.
