This is an example of what happens when you greedily try to fix what it ain't broke... It's a sequel to Slammed with all the cheese and none of the addictive angst. There a couple of good parts where the characters behave somewhat mature, but boy, she butchered the hero. We now get his POV and he is whiny, insecure teenager. There was no need for this book, Slammed had a HEA and a epilogue. And don't get me started on the annoying, unbelievable kids! I did finish it, though, so that's something.
