The Heiress Effect (Brothers Sinister)
There are a lot of glowing reviews that would beg to differ with me, but as much as I adored the heroine, I couldn’t get past the weak conflict and the almost nonexistent tension. Ms. Milan writes outstanding novellas, but her full-length novels are average, even if the ideas and characters are remarkable.
